The feast:

We started the morning off by preparing the cornbread and butter for our feast.

We did an excellent job presenting our Big Turkey Plan script.
Then we enjoyed our Thanksgiving feast with turkey, potatoes,
Mrs. Thompson's class made the cranberries, and Mrs. Bieber's class made the pumpkin dump.

Native Americans
We were busy learning all about the life of Native Americans and how they helped the pilgrims.
We used native american symbols and patterns to make our hats, necklaces and vest.

I'm a long legged turkey
As worried as can be
Eat some more_____
But don't eat me!

Kyson eat more pizza.

Mayakla eat more potatoes.
Paxton eat more brownies.

Emme eat more kiwi.
Noland eat more hot dogs.

Alvis eat more rice.

Thanksgiving feast preparation:

We prepared for our feast by creating our table clothes.

The students first used a measuring tool to find out how long the table was. They then had to roll out paper and use their measuring tools again to cut a long enough piece of paper for the table. Then they had to recheck to make sure they were right. After that was done they could then draw and color Indian symbols on the tablecloths.
