Gingerbread House Fun

We all enjoyed decorating our gingerbread houses today. Many thanks go out to all families that provided supplies for our fun afternoon!

Let the fun begin!!!

We had a great day!

Elsa's Thursday Directions

Elsa must have heard Mrs. Jensen's talking with the students about how we were going to start making gingerbread ornaments today and how we would need to follow directions. She wanted to bring some instructions of his own this morning. The instructions are to plant peppermint mints in flour and then put some sprinkles on top to make sure that the mints grow. What do you think we will grow tomorrow morning?

Elsa heard that we really love Pete the Cat books!
She brought us a new book for the class.

Wednesday, December 3, 2014

 Mrs. Patton visited us today! We learned all about animal tracks.

Mrs. Patton brought animal print stencils that we were able to use. It was fun to see what stencil was under each paper.

 Sticky Tuesday with Elsa:

Elsa found Mrs.Jensen's sticky notes and decided she would rather spell with them then write on them! Then she got into our M&M's.

Santa count down;

In math today we created a Santa to help us count the days till he arrives.

New Student for the Month of December

December has arrived and that means we have a new student for the entire month. She is quite small and dressed in all red. She is our Elf on the Shelf. This morning we read the book and talked about how he will be watching our behavior at school to make sure that each student ends on the right list for Christmas. We all want to be on the nice list! After reading the book we had to decide what her name would be. The vote was to name her
