Apple Orchard and Pumpkin Patch!

A huge thank you to PIE who sponsored our field trip to the Ft. Dodge Apple Orchard and Pumpkin Patch. We had so much fun!

We started our tour by getting on the Pumpkin Cruiser and headed out to the pumpkin fields were we were able to get out and search the field for our perfect pumpkin.

Next we were able to tour the apple orchard and learn all about the different types of apples we even got to pick our own. Next we got to tour were they store the apples and how to make apple cider.Finally we got to taste the apple cider.

After having a great lunch, the field trip was ended by playing in the Back 40 Playground. The kids loved it!

E-Hawk Buddy

I am so excited to announce that we have an E-Hawk Buddy. Jordan Hoyman is going to be joining our room every Monday for some kindergarten math fun. She is a sophomore at the high school. We can't wait to share all of our kindergarten smiles with her!

Nature Center 

What a beautiful day for a field trip to the Nature Center to see all the signs of fall.

More Apple Fun!

We practiced our sight words by adding them to our apple basket.

In math we read 10 Apples On Top then created ourselves with 10 apples on top.

Thursday we made our own applesauce 

All cut up and ready to cook.

All done and ready to eat!

Yup we love our applesauce!
