Daily 5 Sign  Up

This week we started to sign up for our own dailies. This is giving us the choice to pick which daily we want to go to first. We are currently using read to self and listen to reading. Students are loving being able to make the choice of what they want to go to first!

Teddy Bears 

We are using our Teddy Bear poem to help us learn our color words.

Next we circled color words in our emergent reader along with our sight words "is , and the"

then we read them to a partner.

Our Outdoor Classroom   

What a perfect fall day for our trip to Howard's Prairie! We participated in three different sessions. 

The first session was at Dairy Queen we all loved our ice cream.

The second session was with Mrs. Patton and she talked to us about prairies, the animals that live in a prairie, and let us walk in a prairie.

Isaac got to dress up like a bison from the prairie 

If you look very close you will see the grasshopper that Paxton caught. He was so excited (they were everywhere today)!

The last session was looking at the little cabin in the prairie.
They all decided that it would be fun to live in a cabin!!

Math 

We used our math mats and worked on relating objects to numbers.
