What a great day to head outdoor for our classroom. We found all kinds of signs of Spring!

Del's Garden Center

We had a great day touring the garden center and learning about the parts of a plant and what plants need to live. The best part was planting our own seeds. We all thought it was a very colorful, fun place to visit. Oh ya it really smelled great!

FARM
We spent the week learning all about the farm. We learned about the jobs a farmer has everyday.The animals that live on a farm and what we get from them. We read a fun book titled Mrs. Wishy Washy after we read the book we sequenced the story and then retold it to a friend.
                                         

We even enjoyed trying to milk a cow!

Our special day arrived today! We received 6 eggs on Monday and 1 hatched Monday night and Tuesday we even got to see 4 of them hatch from their eggs. It was quite the sight! The kids are so in awe of them. Here are some pictures from the day.

We will observe them all week to learn about the life cycle of a chicken!
