A week with Pete the Cat 

After reading several Pete the Cat books. We practiced retelling a familiar story by using our sequence sheets. We had a great time doing this and the story is VERY familiar now.  You might have seen the sequencing sheets come home.  If you still have yours ask your child to tell you the story!

We also enjoyed reading our literacy book "Pete the Cat I love my shoes"

We practiced writing sentences using some of our sight words and color words. We talked about starting a sentence with a capital letter and ending with punctuation.

We practiced writing our color words.

We found out that as a class we liked blue shoes the best!
